We follow both the Tamil seasons and the Gregorian calendar to discover the seasonal produce harvested and distributed in Auroville.

Pre-Summer Season 2024

Basella Spinach

Bottle gourd

Ponnanganni Spinach

Cucumber

Winged bean

Papaya

And also: Vegetables: Ladies finger, Pumpkin, Sweet corn, Tomato, Green papaya.

Greens & Herbs: Amaranth greens, Basil, Chicken spinach, Lemongrass, Lettuce, Ruccola, New zealand spinach.

Roots: Ginger, Sweet potato, Tapioca, Turmeric, Yam.

Fruits: Banana, Dry coconut, Lemon.
